Second Baltic Conference on the Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences (BALTEHUMS II) November 1-2, 2021. Held online from Tallinn University, Estonia. To remain true to the field’s principles of inclusivity and intellectual curiosity, we invite environ-ment-inspired scholars from different disciplines (anthropology, archaeology, arts, ecology, folkloristics, geography, history, literature, semiotics, psychology etc) to join our celebration. BALTEHUMS II does not put limits to the topics or disciplines of the proposals. We welcome presentations on food, climate, health-environment nexus, resources, landscape, pollution, water, recycling, power plants, representations of nature, human-animal interaction, religion, environmental ethics and other environmental themes in the Baltic region. Particularly welcome are contributions that investigate the history and present of environmentalism, environmental protection and social movements in the region. 15 minutes presentations followed by Q&A.
